HANOVER SAINTS @ Shire Road Club 5525 Auburn Blvd; Sacramento, Ca [6/18/10]. I had great time and it brought me back to the good 'ol days of seeing these guys with Shop 11 Phoenix and Public Unrest. They've still got it even with new bassist Chris Chase of Killing The Dream. Oi!

a music video I shot and edited for my pals Hanover Saints (one of the best punk bands around) of the song 'Nailed To The Letter' off their recent 5-song 'Bitter Pills' ep on RevInk. there was zero budget to do this so I grabbed my iPhone 4, my cheapo Sony 10mp digital cam and an old clamp lamp I bought at Target and shot them at 3 different locations: in their practice space (the bulk of the vid footage), walking around a cafe in Downtown Sacramento called Naked Coffee and at one of their Sacto gigs at a place called the Professional. the live footage didn't turn out so well because the lighting kinda sucked but i love the way the lighting from the clamp lamp looks and think that the energy and vibrancy of the band is captured pretty damned well here. i edited everything on iMovie on my Macbook Pro. You can purchased Hanover Saints' 'Bitter Pills' ep by going to : revinkmerch.bigcartel.com btw, i traded out my mad and fancy vid skills for screen printing, courtesy of Brian, the band's leader and a longtime friend.

Saint Agrippina Tug of War & Dance of 20 Men On Sunday evening at the conclusion of the 2011 Feast of Saint Agrippina Di Mineo, there was the traditional "Tug of War" between the two sides of the famous statue. Then, it's the "Dance of 20 Men" on Hanover Street which concludes with everyone dancing around Saint Agrippina. Both ceremonies are shown in the above video.
